Texas Zephyrs announce Season XXV Show-“The Polar Express”

The Texas Zephyrs are pleased to announce their Season XXV production, The Polar Express.

Musical selections come from music for the film The Polar Express, music by Alan Silvestri.

Says corps director Steven Silverberg, “Given that our corps is named after a passenger train, it seemed like a good fit to go back to a railroad show for the first time since our inaugural show in Season XIII. Given that most of our tour will be happening in the dead of winter, a wintry show also seemed appropriate. Silvestri’s excellent soundtrack to The Polar Express provides a wonderful musical palette from which we can draw, bringing a little bit of the holiday season into early 2016.

The corps will also be spending a solid week in its home state of Texas, before departing on a South American tour.

“Chances to go to South America are few and far between,” says Silverberg. “It would be a shame for us to miss our chance to tour, explore a new country, and take advantage of their summer and the weather that goes with it.”

The Texas Zephyrs look forward to seeing you this season along their tour!
